This all started back in June of 2001 as a little gathering of a few people with similar interests, boats.
We were conversing on an internet message board but had never met in in person. In August of 2001,
all that changed as about 12 of us showed up for a weekend at Tower Park on the California Delta.
At first it was a little awkward as very few of us knew anyone else. As the campsites started to fill up on Friday, most
of us would kind of meander over to find out who had just arrived.
I guess everyone had a pretty good time cuz we've been meeting every year since at various
lakes and rivers, mostly in Northern California. Check the Past Outings section to see some of the
other areas people have met up.
Come Join us sometime, bring your family as we are a family oriented group. None of the outings are
organized other than maybe a Pot Luck dinner so just show up and let us know who you are.
